Shane Rimmer

Shane Rimmer heads up ESC's Strategy Practice, with a focus on the steel, automotive and telecommunications industries. He has also worked extensively for the European Commission, including DGs Competition, Enterprise, Enlargement, InfoSoc, Markt and Regio.

Shane has extensive steel experience, particularly in Eastern Europe, where he has been involved in industry restructuring in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Macedonia and Poland. Shane's particular interest and expertise lie in marketing and sales, and he has managed a number of steel industry projects involving market and product forecasting for producers, ranging from integrated mills to small specialist tube manufacturers. He was also involved in the development of ESC's steel company business planning system - EuroSteelPlan.

Prior to joining EuroStrategy Consultants, Shane was a Senior Consultant in Ernst & Young's Business Strategy and European practices, and a banker at Coutts & Company.
